The Jaipur Heritage Walk Experience is a guided morning walk designed to help you explore the old city through its small streets, historic communities, and hidden landmarks. This walk focuses on Jaipur’s unique city planning, traditional neighborhoods, and everyday life that often goes unnoticed while passing through main roads. As the walk begins, you explore the geometrically planned structure of Jaipur and understand the importance of the city’s historic entry gates. Leaving the main streets behind, the walk takes you into the narrow lanes of Jaipur’s famous quadrants, including Modikhana, where daily life continues much the same way it has for generations.
During the walk, you visit a street inhabited by the Thatheras, a traditional community of metal beaters, and witness their craft firsthand. You will also see a rare temple, a historic community well, and observe the unique art of bangle making using sealing wax.
The experience further includes visits to an Ayurveda hospital known for spine treatment and an ancient temple located beneath a 300-year-old tamarind tree.
